CONTEMPORY GARDENROOM SUMMERHOUSE

The 12’ x 8’ Contemporary Garden Room Summerhouse with Side Shed combines a beautiful summer house with a handy side shed for storage options. The summer houses' fully glazed BI- fold doors open fully to 170cm, which allows maximum access into the room, as well as allowing plenty of air circulation in the summer. The quality tongue and groove cladding panels ensure the wooden summer house and shed are kept as moisture resistant as possible, as well as a strong and hard wearing build. The wooden side shed is a useful addition to the summer house, and can be used for storing plenty of items inside when not in use. This building is modular meaning that the side shed can be constructed on either the left or right hand side of the summerhouse. 

This is a great looking 10' x 8' Contemporary Summerhouse that is a contemporary twist on a 1950's style. It will certainly add something to it's surroundings, no matter where that might be.  The fully glazed concertina opening doors gives you an inhibited view of your garden and comes with high grade stainless steel lock and key. It's doors open fully to 170cm, making it easy to move furniture in or out and allow plenty of air in during the warmer months. . The building is fully manufactured in the UK and made with sturdy and traditional British 12mm shiplap tongue and groove cladding. The cladding itself is machined with a shiplap profile to aid water dispersion and enhance the longevity of the building. To ensure it's stability, the easy to assemble pre constructed panels are supported by 27mm x 44mm rounded edged framing. This is considered to be a strong gauge of timber for a summerhouse of this type. This contemporary summerhouse also benefits from using only planed timber, to not only give a superior and even finish, but this process also closes the pores of the timber. This makes it much more resistant to moisture and will help to extend the life of the building. The side shed of this building is modular and can be constructed on either side of the main summerhouse room.

Howser Pool House 3.8m x 5.3m Log Cabin

Devon Garden Sheds has recently Installed this absolutely fantastic Log Cabin in an area called Rock, near Wadebridge in Devon. This 3.8m x 5.3m Howser Pool House Log Cabin is a high quality garden building which has a traditional, New England design. This building is perfect for any garden and has many unique features which make it stand out from the crowd. This building has an apex roof which gives it a traditional and country feel. This building is made with high quality, 44mm tongue and groove timber. Tongue and groove timber interlocks to create a solid and weatherproof wall panel. Double doors with lock and key, Large internal space, 28mmT&G roof and floor. There was a concrete base already in place for the Log Cabin to be built on, this gave a solid foundation for this big building which is highly recommended. 

The construction of this type of building is really quite simple, all the timbers just click together making a solid structure, you just start from the bottom and keep working your way up to around about half way up the windows, then you can slide the pre-fabricated windows into position and carry on with the rest of the timbers.

Log Cabins Now Available!

Devon Garden Sheds now offer a wide range of Log Cabins these fantastic buildings come in all different shapes and sizes, and  are a great addition to any garden.  All our Log Cabins are cladded in quality timber. There are noticeable differences with the Log Cabin cladding though.The boards are tongue & groove and considerably thicker than your average 12mm shiplap board. We offer the following thickness for our Log Cabins; 44mm, 35mm, 28mm and 19mm. Naturally, the thicker the board, the better quality the building. Whereas other tongue & groove roof and floor boards will typically be 12mm in thickness, most of our Log Cabins are constructed from 19mm thick boards (28mm available on certain models).
